Description

Sweetree's Hakarimata honey is collected from the Hakarimata Range which forms part of the western rampart of the Waikato Basin.  Nestled in the foothills, our bees feast themselves on the copious sources of nectar from native flowers above and pasture flowers below.

Unlike the people who hike to the top of the Hakarimata's this honey is oh so pale! You’ll taste ripe peaches with a hint of apple blossom.  It's an all time favourite.

This honey won Silver in 2017, Bronze in 2014, Gold in 2013 and Silver in 2012 in the 'Beekeepers Special Reserve' honey competition with the National Beekeepers Association Honey Show.
