Millstream Comfrey & Calendula Ointment 60ml

A valuable “First Aid” cream, aids healing and helps to take the “sting” out of cuts, grazes and bruises. Helps to heal nappy rash, acne, and slow healing wounds. For cracked hands or feet try overnight application with a plaster or cotton socks. Rubbed in thoroughly twice a day we’ve found that warts will disappear. Traditionally Comfrey was known as "Knitbone" as it is reputed to speed up the healing of bone injuries. Comfrey is a natural source of Allantoin, which speeds up cell production, so it should not be used on infected areas as it may heal the skin too quickly. When our children were small, a jar of ‘Magic Green Ointment’ would fix almost every injury! It’s the remedy we use when we’re not sure what to use, and it always seems to help.
