Wild Dispensary Switchel combines Otago elderberries, ginger root, and mānuka which are infused for several weeks in raw organic apple cider vinegar with raw Dunedin honey. Supporting digestion, energy and Immunity this is a delicious tonic to include in your daily routines.

A switchel is a concentrated uplifting energy tonic, slightly sour, with a hint of sweet and is often referred to as one of the original electrolyte tonics. Our recipe is based on a 17th-century recipe drunk by haymakers as a replenishing tonic after a day in the field of hard physical labour.

Active Ingredients in each 5ml dose: 

^ Elderberries (Sambucus nigra) T.E fresh berries 1.25g

Ginger root (Zingiber officinale) T.E fresh root 250mg

^ Mānuka (Leptospermum scoparium) T.E fresh leaf 50mg

°Dried Ginger (Zingiber officinale) T.E fresh root 10mg

°Certified Organic, ^ Wild Harvested, T.E (Tincture Equivalent)

Base Ingredients:

Organic raw apple cider vinegar and Otago honey

Contains no added:

Sugar, gluten, corn, soy, yeast, dairy, and no artificial flavours, colours, preservatives or sweeteners.

Recommended dosage

Dilute 5 ml (child) or up to 10 ml (adult) with up to 10 parts of hot or cold water.

Take neat as a ‘wellness shot’

If unwell increase to 5 ml – 10 ml every 3-4 hours.

Max dose - 5 x daily dose
